Professor Kathryn J. Kennedy
Publications
Her article “2011 Law Review Articles on Employee Benefits Issues” was published in 134 Tax Notes 1456 (Mar. 12, 2012). It summarized 10 noteworthy law review articles published in 2011 on the topics of employee benefits and executive compensation. Tax Analysts runs a series of these types of articles, featuring the top law review articles in international tax law, partnership tax law, tax accounting, estate and gift tax law and employee benefits law, all featured in the March 12, 2012 edition of Tax Notes.
Much to Kennedy’s delight, she discovered that her article “The IRS’s Recent Uncertain Tax Positions Initiative: Tangle of Accounting, Tax and Privilege Issues,” 9 DePaul Bus. & Com. L.J. 401 (2011), was listed as one of the top tax accounting articles in Professor W. Eugene Seago’s article “UTP Reporting Dominates 2011 Tax Accounting Articles,” 134 Tax Notes 1446 (Mar. 12, 2012).
