John Marshall alum, Illinois State Sen. Michael Hastings (JD ’13) , is sponsoring a bill that would extend the statute of limitations on a number of crimes (including armed robbery and home invasion) if any of the crimes were in connection to criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault or aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
