Students Michael Toogun and Dany Bourjas featured
Both Toogun and Bourjas are immigrants. Toogun’s family came to the U.S. from Nigeria when he was 11. Bourjas’ family came to the U.S. from Lebanon when he was 10.
“What I’ve learned is that anybody could be a defendant in a foreclosure action,” Bourjas said. “It doesn’t take very much. … People from all walks of life are finding themselves in this crisis.”
