Public Interest Scholarship Auction

The Student Bar Association (SBA) raised more than $14,000 at the 31st Annual Public Interest Scholarship Auction on April 4, 2013. More than 80 items were auctioned off.

“We had hundreds of students and John Marshall ‘family’ come out and support the auction,” said Kurt Brna, SBA president. This year’s bargains were called out by a professional auctioneer, and a DJ provided the entertainment for the evening.

Students who will be working in public interest positions this summer are eligible for stipends underwritten from the proceeds of the auction. The Public Interest Scholarship Committee is currently accepting student applications for the scholarships. For more information contact Brna at kbrna@jmls.edu.
