The lawsuit filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County against The John Marshall Law School on Feb. 1, 2012, concerning post-graduation employment statistics is virtually identical to suits filed against many other law schools and was conceived and promoted by out-of-state lawyers who publicly announced that they intended to sue John Marshall apparently before they even had clients who wanted to bring those suits. We do not believe this lawsuit has merit and we will not permit it to detract from the accomplishments of every student who successfully completes a rigorous legal education and earns a degree from John Marshall.
Our core mission at The John Marshall Law School is to provide a quality legal education. Our dedicated full-time faculty and practicing adjunct faculty is committed to that mission. We are proud of every student and alum who, through hard work and personal accountability, successfully completes their legal education at John Marshall. We are also proud of our Career Services staff who work tirelessly to assist both our students and alumni as they chart their life after law school.
