“Patent Appeal System in China” is the focus of the 2nd Chinese Intellectual Property Forum hosted Aug. 24, 2012, by the Chinese Intellectual Property Resource Center at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
The free program, from 9 a.m. to noon at the law school, features Chief Judge James Holderman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois among a distinguished panel.
Holderman, with other outstanding Chinese experts, will focus on the importance of the Patent Reexamination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office of China in overall patent implementation.
Panelists joining Holderman are Sun Wei, vice dean of the China Intellectual Property Training Center, and Bai Jianfeng, assistant director general of the Patent Reexamination Board.
