The John Marshall Law School sponsored a luncheon on Oct. 31 in honor of Mexican Supreme Court Justice José Fernando Franco González-Salas who visited Chicago on behalf of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois (HLAI).
Franco and his wife, Pilar, were welcomed by John Marshall professors and administrators, local judges, Illinois Supreme Court justices, members of HLAI; and student representatives of John Marshall. This luncheon was one of the many stops for Franco, who also is meeting with appellate and federal judges, Latino law students and Robert Clifford, CBA president for the CBA.
