Cheryl Hudson-Wright has joined The John Marshall Law School as an associate director in the Career Services Office.
Wright will help students and alumni with interviewing skills, job search strategy and career planning. Wright is directing on-campus recruitment and conducting private sector employer outreach.
Prior to joining John Marshall, Wright was a senior career advisor at Shannon and Manch LLP, where she counseled attorneys seeking direction for a more specific career path. Wright said as a counselor she plans to offer law students and graduates more information and resources for them to explore.
As an attorney, Wright practiced for nine years in Washington, D.C., and Charlotte, N.C. Her specializations included corporate and transactional work, banking and finance, and family law and real estate development.
Wright received a JD at Harvard Law School and a bachelor of arts degree in history at Howard University.
