Annie Krug has joined the staff of The John Marshall Law School as its executive director of Institutional Affairs. Krug comes to John Marshall after serving as the director of Enrollment Marketing for the Diocese of Joliet. Previously she was vice president for advancement and special assistant to the president at the University of Southern Indiana (Evansville), and vice president for advancement at Rockford College in Rockford, Ill.
Krug’s responsibilities will include day-to-day operations of Institutional Affairs, which encompasses public information, media relations, publications, event management, digital communications, and the law school’s website.
“Annie brings a wonderful level of leadership, energy, and creativity to this important role,” said John Corkery, John Marshall’s dean. “I’m confident in her ability to enhance our law school’s reputation and increase awareness of our success in preparing our students with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to be practice-ready from day one on the job.”
Krug has a BA from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and an MA from Rockford College. Her areas of expertise include strategic marketing management, event management, and advancement, and she has been a speechwriter and institutional spokesperson.
