John Marshall students Zike “Ariel” Yang, Brittany Mancuso, Zhiwen “Jeannette” Jie, Kasim Carbide, Angela Lewosz and Nora Fitton will compete for the first time in The Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot next month in Hong Kong. The competition is open to law students from all countries and runs parallel with The Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration in Vienna, a competition John Marshall students have participated in in the past.
Chicago law firm Chuhak & Tecson P.C. purchased shirts for the team to wear at the competition. The team is coached by John Marshall graduates Kristen Hudson (’03), who serves as a principal and general counsel at Chuhak & Tecson, and Daniel Saeedi (’08), who serves as a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Both Hudson and Saeedi competed at the Vienna version of the competition when they were law students.
