John Marshall students Zhiwen “Jeannette” Jie, Caroline Muzarek, Zike “Ariel” Yang and Gabrielle Neace will compete in The Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot this March in Hong Kong. Students Humza Ansari and Sara Geoghegan are the team’s alternates. The competition is open to law students from all countries and runs parallel with The Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration in Vienna, a competition John Marshall students have participated in in the past.
The team is coached by John Marshall graduates Kristen Hudson (’03), who serves as a principal and general counsel at Chuhak & Tecson, and Daniel Saeedi (’08), who serves as a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Both Hudson and Saeedi competed at the Vienna version of the competition when they were law students.
