Troy Riddle, Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at The John Marshall Law School, has been appointed to the executive committee of the Association of American Law School’s Section on Student Services. Riddle’s two-year appointment to the executive committee became effective at the 2018 AALS Annual Meeting in San Diego.
The Section on Student Services promotes the communication of ideas, interests and activities and makes recommendations to the AALS about services to law students.
This is Riddle’s first appointment to an AALS committee. “I am honored and humbled to be serving on this committee,” Riddle said. “There are lots of challenges and opportunities facing student services professionals, and helping to illuminate, shape and facilitate discussions on how to best meet them is exciting.”
Riddle began working at John Marshall in 2013 as the director of diversity and outreach. He previously served as assistant dean and multicultural affairs officer for Widener University School of Law and as assistant director for Diversity Initiatives at the Law School Admission Council.
Riddle holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
