  • She appeared on Politics Tonight to discuss two cases handed down by the Illinois Supreme Court.
  • She provided comments to ABC 7 Chicago regarding the dispute between Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers Union.
  • She provided comments to Chicago Daily Law Bulletin regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in “one person, one vote”.

Professor Mary Nagel

  • She was a panel member at the Externship 8 conference held at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. The panel spoke on “Using Teaching Modules to Enhance the Externship Experience.”

Associate Dean Anthony Niedwiecki

  • He signed a letter, along with other law professors and legal scholars from across the country, calling on U.S. Senate leaders to fulfill their constitutional obligation to consider a U.S. Supreme Court nominee.

Professor Timothy O’Neill

  • He published a column in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin titled Juvenile justice long time coming, but maybe Illinois bill can lead way.

Professor Steven Schwinn

  • He provided comments to the Christian Science Monitor regarding the possible outcomes of a case before the U.S. Supreme Court involving the Affordable Care Act.
  • He published an argument analysis on SCOTUSblog regarding the case Simmons v. Himmelreich.
  • He signed the “Statement of  Constitutional Law Scholars on the Supreme Court Vacancy,” a letter written by constitutional law scholars urging President Obama and the U.S. Senate to fulfill their constitutional duties with regard to the vacancy that exists on the U.S. Supreme Court.
  • He provided comments to Medill Reports regarding possible outcomes in a U.S. Supreme Court abortion case.
  • He published an argument preview on SCOTUSblog titled When does a court’s dismissal of a prisoner’s federal tort claims act case foreclose a parallel Bivens claim? 
  • He published the following columns for ABA Preview:
