Illinois State Historical Society – April 25, 2015
The Illinois State Historical Society honored Professor Ann Lousin at its 116th annual meeting with one of its “Best of the Best” Illinois history awards. Lousin was honored with a Certificate of Excellence award for her columns published in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Society officials said: “These well-considered and thoroughly researched articles make complex issues understandable, not only to law practitioners today but historians in future. They are a model for what law columnists should do and are a valuable service for future historians.”
