In a special “Law Day 2017” supplement to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Dean Darby Dickerson commented on the proposals to help improve law graduates’ performance on the bar exam. Earlier this year the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates rejected a proposal that tied law school accreditation to bar passage rates. Dickerson told the Law Bulletin that she supports moving to a uniform bar exam but noted that “any additional shift in how law graduates are examined would require a change in mindset among legal educators and bar examiners.”
