“It’s worth it,” Jason Kilborn, bankruptcy and commercial law professor at John Marshall Law School, said in a telephone interview. “In every major case, you have to have some real expertise on the sticky issues, which in this case are pensions and collective bargaining. Resolving those are going to make or break whether they can go forward, so they really need to bring in experts on the state of the industry. For at least existing employees, the question of industry parity is a big one.”
