Adjunct Prof. Sheila Murphy a Speaker at SNAP Conference

July 29 – Voice from the Desert

Sheila Murphy was a Presiding Judge of Cook County and  was a pioneer in promoting social justice in the court system. Murphy established Cook County’s first drug court, improved processes in domestic violence court and opened the first children’s room in a court house to keep children from witnessing proceedings against their parents.
