The Entertainment, Media and Sports Law Society at The John Marshall Law School will host “Baseball & Law: Negotiating and Arbitrating America’s Pastime” on April 13, 2012.
A free program, from noon to 2:30 p.m., explores how major league baseball agents and organizations use arbitration to resolve player salary disputes.
Panelists include Lester Munson, senior writer and legal analyst for ESPN.com; Teddy Warner, senior director of Business Operations for the Milwaukee Brewers; and Bob Lisanti, Major League Baseball Players Association-certified agent.
The event was organized by students Bernadette Savarese, Mike Rohde and Barret Arthur, of the Entertainment, Media and Sports Law Society. Arthur will moderate the discussion.
