Lipu Tian (left), commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of the People’s Republic of China, stopped by The John Marshall Law School while in Chicago. Tian was leading a SIPO delegation attending a conference in Canada. Because John Marshall has had a relationship with SIPO for 20 years, Tian made a special stop to visit our newly renovated first floor and to thank Dean John E. Corkery (right) for the law school’s continued commitment to the SIPO/John Marshall partnership.
