Each year, Phyllis Finney, the library’s circulation coordinator, heads up Black History Month for the Louis L. Biro Library at John Marshall to commemorate and celebrate the contributions of people of African descent to our nation. This year Finney created a display of African American children’s books written by African American authors. She has also written and emailed articles, including pictures, pertaining to the display. Stop by the 6th floor of the library and take a look.
