“The majority of our clients don’t have complex returns,” said Capt. Amber Wagner, the officer in charge of the Fort Bliss Tax Center this year. “Their returns are usually fairly simple. They shouldn’t be paying a commercial tax preparer. We can prepare them for free.”
Active-duty military, their dependents, retired military and Reserve and National Guard members who have been called to active duty can get their returns done at the center, Wagner said.
