How might the shift of political power in the U.S. Congress affect proposed trade agreements between the EU and NAFTA nations? That question is among the topics to be discussed at the 14th annual Folsom Lecture on International Business and Trade Law at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
The Jan. 23 event will address the topic, “CETA and TTIP: Free Trade Agreements between the EU and NAFTA Nations.” Legal experts will share their insights into the most important developments in the field of international business and trade law.
Speakers will include David A. Gantz and Ralph H. Folsom. Gantz is Samuel M. Fegtly Professor of Law and director of the International Trade Law Program at The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
Folsom is a professor at the University of San Diego School of Law who teaches antitrust law, international business, NAFTA, European Union Law and international trade law.
Folsom is an adjunct professor and Advisory Board member for John Marshall’s Center for International Law. Every spring, Folsom or another noted academic or practitioner lectures at John Marshall on an aspect of international business and trade law.
