Girl On computer 10-05John Marshall offers one of the country’s best online graduate programs for practicing lawyers. That’s according to the New York Law Journal, whose readers voted John Marshall’s online LL.M. program No. 2 in the U.S.

“John Marshall is committed to being a leader in the field of online legal education,” said Anthony Niedwiecki, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. “This ranking proves that John Marshall students earn a valuable education from skilled faculty, both when they’re offered online and in our classrooms.”

Students enrolled in John Marshall online courses excel in their studies. Texas-based lawyer Steve Eubank turned to John Marshall when he wanted to advance his knowledge of employee benefits law. Eubank has worked as senior counsel for a Fortune 500 company for more than a decade and is responsible for most legal issues faced by its human resources department.

As workplace regulations became more complex, he searched for a program that could give him a thorough understanding of the laws affecting employee benefits. He chose John Marshall because it is the only law school in the country to offer an American Bar Association-approved LLM degree in employee benefits completely online. He recently was honored by the Chicago Bar Association as having one of the highest employee benefits GPAs in the city.

John Marshall is investing in distance education in ways unseen at many other law schools. John Marshall’s online courses are produced in an in-house studio and in the field under the direction of media, instructional and resource specialists who, in concert with faculty, oversee both the production quality, as well as the course content.

John Marshall offers more than 50 online J.D. courses, more than any law school in the country. The ABA allows second- and third-year J.D. students to take up to 15 credits online. John Marshall’s program serves a wide variety of students needs including part-time and visiting law school students.

John Marshall offers innovative courses reflective of the school’s most distinguished programs, including new courses, Law & New Technology, and Computer Crime, Information Warfare and Economic Espionage. Law & New Technology has been designed in concert with federal law enforcement officials, to highlight the unique concerns new technologies pose from a legal and security standpoint.
