Wendy Peterson (’84) Plans HR Department Changes in Pinal County

Wendy Petersen (JD ’84) featured

Petersen has practiced law for over 25 years, specializing in the area of employment law for the last 15 years. She has represented various departments of Pinal County (and previously Pima County) with special concentration in advising the Pinal and Pima County Sheriffs.

She is a Tucson native who received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

“I’ve practiced law for 26 years, some of it has been pretty tedious,” Petersen said with a laugh. “This new position gives me the chance to be a public servant without having to practice law, it’s a big change but I’m up to the challenge.”
