Vik Patel parlayed a college hobby into a business that runs servers for clients in more than 110 countries around the world. Novi-based Future Hosting Technologies LLC, which posted revenue of $1.22 million in 2011, allows companies to run their applications, websites, games and services without needing an in-house IT team. And the 26-year-old did it while in school.
