Alumnus Dan Weiler (JD ’76) featured:
Since his 2009 diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s disease—a fatal neurodegenerative condition—Weiler also has become a dedicated voice to raise awareness of the illness, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, of ALS.
“I hope that any (recognition of me) will help bring attention to ALS and the research findings of Dr. Siddique,” said Weiler, who in October was chosen as the Les Turner ALS Foundation Patient of the Year.
