Aug. 24 – Illinois Senate Democrats
State Senator Ira Silverstein’s (D-Chicago) measure creating the Internet Dating Safety Act was signed by the governor today. Internet dating sites offering services in Illinois must now clearly disclose on their websites whether or not they perform criminal background checks on their members.
