Alumna Danielle Niedfeldt (’08) was named the new President/CEO of Carolina Donor Services. Carolina Donor Services is the federally-designated, not-for-profit organ and tissue donation organization serving 7.2 million people in 77 counties of North Carolina and Danville, Virginia. Niedfeldt, a registered nurse and licensed attorney, began her career as an Air Force critical care nurse. She joined Carolina Donor Services in 1999 and has served in various positions including Organ Donation Coordinator, Manager of Organ Donation Services and Director of Clinical Services. She was appointed Vice President/Chief Operating Officer in 2008. She earned her JD from John Marshall in 2008.
