The importance of professional responsibility in intellectual property law is the focus of “Ethics in the Practice of Intellectual Property Law” on April 27, 2012, at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Intellectual property practitioners will address these often-encountered dilemmas.
The John Marshall Law School Center for Intellectual Property Law will host “Ethics in the Practice of Intellectual Property Law” on April 27, 2012.
At the program, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the law school, distinguished guests will address various ethical dilemmas often encountered by intellectual property practitioners.
Guests include Scott Renfroe, chief of the Supreme Court Practice with the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois; Charles Shifley of Banner & Witcoff; Steve Ruwe, attorney adviser for the U.S. Copyright Office; Professor William Gallagher of Golden Gate University Law School; James Muraff of Neal Gerber & Eisenberg; and Mari Henry Leigh of Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson.
